We are honored to present a new master model in the Figures from the Holy Scriptures series — “The Devil Tempts Jesus Christ.”
This miniature captures the most decisive of the three temptations described in the Gospels (Matthew 4:8–11; Luke 4:5–8). The Devil leads Jesus to a high mountain and shows Him “all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.” With this vision, Satan offers absolute power and earthly dominion: “All this will I give You, if You will fall down and worship me.”
In this moment, the essence of temptation is revealed — the promise of wealth, glory, and control over nations in exchange for surrendering loyalty to God. It is not simply a personal test but a cosmic confrontation between Light and Darkness, between the true Messiah and the false ruler of this world.
Jesus Christ responds with authority, quoting Scripture: “Get thee hence, Satan, for it is written: Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” With these words, He rejects both the offer and the tempter Himself, affirming the unshakable foundation of His mission — obedience to the Father, not power over men.
Our master model brings this dramatic scene to life:
Jesus Christ stands firmly, hand raised in refusal, embodying calm resolve and divine authority.
The Devil extends his hand in persuasion, symbolizing false promises and corrupt power.
The rocky mountain base serves as the stage of this ultimate confrontation, where the kingdoms of the world seem near, yet remain beyond Satan’s grasp.
This master model is more than a collectible figure. It is a meditation in metal — a reminder of Christ’s victory over the ultimate temptation of power, a triumph that reaffirms the truth that only God is worthy of worship.
